What’s our story, you ask?
A NORTHWOODS STAPLE SINCE 2010
The Timbers Bar & Grill is a nostalgic Northwoods family-friendly establishment nestled among the towering pines in Saint Germain, Wisconsin. Originally built in the 1920s as the recreation hall and taproom of Elbert’s Resort, it still boasts the same original log character it did years ago.
In 2010 the Hegewald family first opened the doors to The Timbers Bar & Grill, with the intention of offering an inviting atmosphere that visitors couldn’t resist coming back to. After 12 years of building a thriving bar and grill, the Hegewalds decided to turn the page and start a new chapter. In early 2022 the St. Germain community welcomed new owners Phil and Bobbie Hams, and son Brock to the Timbers. Stop in and introduce yourself. Although they've been coming to the area for several years, they're always ready to meet another friendly face!
The Timbers is best known for grilling a mean burger, an amazing Friday fish fry, an old-fashioned that you just can’t pass up, and top-notch hospitality! If a party isn’t taking place, you can always find your game right here on one of our 7 flat-screen TVs! And no matter what team you’re cheering for, we promise not to discriminate! (Go Pack, Go!)
Customers also enjoy accessing The Timbers by boat in the summer and fall, as we’re located on the West Bay of Little St. Germain Lake (at Elbert’s Resort). You can also get to the Timber’s by two wheels and a set of pedals or by foot, from the paved biking and walking path in town. But don’t forget about the winter! The Timber’s is pit-stop #3 on the Bo-Boen Snowmobile Club’s trail system and happens to be a snowmobiler hot-spot!
No matter what the season or the reason, stop by The Timbers Bar & Grill for a classic Northwoods experience!
